Cubism was a 20th century art movement developed by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque. Cubism inspired movements in music and literature. People often misunderstood the artwork for just fun and an art of attraction. The first branch known as "Analytic Cubism" was influential as a short movement between 1907 and 1911 in France. In cubist artworks, objects are broken up and analyzed in an abstracted form. The surfaces often intersect at random angles. The background and object planes intersect one another to create shallow space, which is one of the cubism's characteristics. At first the concept of cubism was unclear but with continous research I've gained knowledge behind the meaning of the artwork. Vibrant colors in cubism artwork reflects on the beauty of life itself.
