Aldous Huxley

Aldous Huxley is highly an interesting person. He spoke about a specific drug called Mescaline. Mescaline is an alkaloid drug that produces hallucinations. I agree with his testing of the drug Mescaline leading to the future drugs known as LSD. His continous research help us understand drugs in the past. He believed that the usage of drugs help enlightened his mind and made him more creative. I strongly support his belief that people should go on a "chemical vacation". At some point of time, people will either want or need to escape from reality. Adding to his theory, smoking marijuana and/or consuming alcohol is other ways people feel they can do to "escape", which proves Huxley's point.

Abstract-Lucky Charms vs. Cold Medicine

Brand named cereal Lucky Charms gives the human body the full protection against colds overnight. The wheat ingredient in addition to the high source of Vitamin A and C aids the body from a simple cold. The frosted oats that is contained in the cereal contains special enzymes in which makes the body produces nearly three times of white blood cells. Michael Christian and Charles Darwin, two scientists from Chicago Center performed a study to prove this theory. 100 college students with a slight common cold from John Jay College of Criminal Justice were to eat only a bowl of Lucky Charms for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a day. The following day, 97 students no longer had a cold. The remaining 3 students was at full recovery a day later. Lucky Charms beats all the common cold medicines that is on the shelf of your local pharmacy.

Cubism

Cubism was a 20th century art movement developed by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque. Cubism inspired movements in music and literature. People often misunderstood the artwork for just fun and an art of attraction. The first branch known as "Analytic Cubism" was influential as a short movement between 1907 and 1911 in France. In cubist artworks, objects are broken up and analyzed in an abstracted form. The surfaces often intersect at random angles. The background and object planes intersect one another to create shallow space, which is one of the cubism's characteristics. At first the concept of cubism was unclear but with continous research I've gained knowledge behind the meaning of the artwork. Vibrant colors in cubism artwork reflects on the beauty of life itself.
